Compliance framework

Built so no one needs
to trust us.

AI Motion handles real money, real authorship, and real audiences. We treat compliance not as a chore but as a feature of the architecture. Below: how we approach each area, and how it's verified.

Section 01

KYC & identity

Identity verification is tiered by activity — anonymous wallets work for browsing and small interactions; standard withdrawal limits unlock with email+phone verification; large transactions and IP minting require government ID verification through a licensed third party.

  • Tier 0 (no KYC): watch, tip, collect — no withdrawal
  • Tier 1 (email+phone): withdraw up to $1,000 USD equivalent per month
  • Tier 2 (gov ID + selfie): unlimited withdrawals, IP minting, marketplace bidding above 5,000 AM

Identity data is encrypted at rest, never shared with third parties without legal compulsion, and deletable on request after settled withdrawals clear.

Section 02

AML monitoring

All on-chain activity is subject to automated risk scoring through reputable AML providers (TRM Labs / Chainalysis class). Suspicious patterns trigger manual review; clearly illegal activity is reported per local law.

Top-up sources are matched against sanction lists. Withdrawals to addresses flagged as high-risk are blocked pending review. We err on the side of compliance — even if it means occasionally inconveniencing legitimate creators.

Section 03

Content safety

Every piece of generated content passes through a multi-stage classifier before publishing: CSAM detection (industry-standard hash matching plus ML classifier), explicit-content scoring, deepfake detection for human likenesses, and prompt audit for prohibited categories.

All generated work carries C2PA provenance watermarks, meaning any viewer (and any platform receiving the syndicated version) can verify it was made on AI Motion with which models, when, and by whom.

User reports trigger human review within 24 hours. Multiple violations result in account suspension and on-chain reputation marks.

Section 04

IP licensing & royalties

Officially licensed IPs in our library come with verifiable licensing contracts. When a creator uses an IP in a work, smart-contract logic automatically applies the negotiated royalty share to every revenue event, settling in real time.

Creator-owned IPs (where we accept them in future phases) require proof of ownership before mint — either documented portfolio, prior public release, or signed declaration with legal indemnity.

Copyright disputes follow a DMCA-equivalent takedown process with a 7-day response window. False claims are penalized.

Section 05

Data residency

For creators and audiences operating from mainland China, we offer onshore data residency — generated works, identity data, and ledger state are stored on China-resident infrastructure when chosen.

For EU-based users, full GDPR mode applies: explicit consent prompts, right to data export, right to deletion, no marketing tracking without opt-in.

Cross-border data flow is opt-in per region per user — we don't decide your jurisdiction for you.

AI Token · compliance positioning

A utility token, not a security.

Why utility

AI Token is consumed when calling AI models, paying for content, or settling royalties. It's not marketed as an investment, not promised to appreciate, not sold with expectation of profit from third-party effort.

Why not security

No pooling of funds for collective investment. No revenue-distribution claim from holding the token alone. Shared Equity rights flow from contribution activity, not from token balance.

Cross-border & fiat

Top-up via Alipay / WeChat Pay (CN), USDT / USDC bridge, and credit card. Withdrawals route via licensed off-ramps. Reporting per jurisdiction.

Disclosures

Burn rate, top-up volume, treasury balance — all on-chain and publicly readable. A monthly transparency report summarizes flows.
